[In this episode]

What’s the 1 inexpensive blood test that EVERYONE who cares about longevity should be running regularly?

hsCRP - High-sensitivity C-reactive Protein test

Internet health thought leaders advocate for an hsCRP < 1 mg/L.

Mine is consistently < 0.1 mg/L!

Why should you care about hsCRP?

hsCRP is sensitive to chronic low grade inflammation including those without overt disease.

In other words, hsCRP is sensitive to various lifestyle assaults that are weighing on your body & (silently) AGING you or affecting your day to day performace, including

  • Environmental toxins
  • Pathogens (not enough to cause overt disease)
  • Inflammatory diet
  • Other inflammatory lifestyle factors

Remember, health status exists on a spectrum and all high grade issues start with low grade symptoms.

Low grade issues present themselves in ways most people disregard as just getting older, or its just the way it is such as:

  • brain fog
  • chronic fatigue
  • lack of mental clarity
  • low mood
  • frequent poor digestion

Side note: I don’t control for lifting heavy when I take my hsCRP tests. Meaning that I could have lifted the day before or day of taking such a test —- so my hsCRP in actuality is undetactable.

So, what does this mean for you?

There are many highly ACTIONABLE aspects to going about a low inflammation lifestyle to achieve low chronic inflammatory status 👇🏻👇🏻
